Love it. My fur baby already knows that when she gets in the car the seat belt goes on. Easily goes onGreat for new puppyI don't know how comfortable the dogs find the leads, but this gadget is essential for keeping them in the back seat without confining them. Easy to use and durable, the only problem has been a bend in the tab that slides into the seatbelt lock.I was skeptical at first but this dog seat buckle is awesome. When I first opened the package it looked too short but I figured I would try it before anything else. I was shocked that it was just long enough for my dog to stick her head out of both windows In the back. Before I had this seat belt it was a struggle taking her anywhere. She is a 60lb pit and boxer mix but she thinks she’s a lap dog. It’s much safer driving while she is confined to the back seat. On one drive I guess I had the windows down too far. She was hanging out the window with her paws On the outside of the car. I’m not sure if she jumped or slipped but next thing I know she’s ha gong out the window. Luckily we had not been going fast and her seat belt held her. I jumped out of the car and threw her back in the window. She was not hurt at all. I shortened the seat belt a little and don’t put the windows down as far now. The leash saved her from hitting the ground and injury.This is definitely best used with a harness but if you don’t have one of these you need to order it right now.Feliz con esta compra. I really like the adjustability to lengthen or shorten the seatbelt as well!Works great. We had to slam on it it breaks once to avoid an accident with someone who didn’t quite know where they were going. Anyway, slammed breaks, our pup went flying but saved by the harness and seatbelt. Later that day she tried to jump out of the car while still attached and I was able to see how safe this thing was. No harm, she was ok. I think the combo of a good harness and the belt are amazing. Bought this for her when she was a small pup that was 5 lbs, now she is 15 lbs and still growing and it still works nicely. Absolutely DO NOT attach the seatbelt to the collar. It’s amazing that has to be said but I have had to tell people not to do that and I have seen people do that.Our pup loves car rides, any and everywhere. It helps put our mind at ease knowing that Hendrix is secured in the backseat with his seat belt attached to his harness(please only attach these to a harness) God forbid an accident we're to occur. The seat belt is also long enough for Hendrix to enjoy the fresh air and put his head out of the window, which again puts our mind at ease that he won't be able to jump out of the car. Great product, overall great material, seems like they will last long.No big hassle to use, just hook on to the harness and the seat belt catch in the car. My dog was very comfortable with it.Update: This seat belt did not fit in an old Hyundai i30 that we had rented. Maybe only works in the new generation cars.
