This is a custom pet memory box, perfect for storing precious keepsakes and/or contained ashes. We know it is no easy thing to lose your best friend. Each box is handcrafted in our woodshop from your choice of wood. Pine is finished with your stain selection, and our premium woods (walnut, mahogany, and aromatic cedar) are hand rubbed with mineral oil. The top above the photo is engraved with a name and years of life, if desired.Please note: ashes should be in a durable bag or container before resting in the box as it is not airtight.Includes a swing latch on the back side of the urn to hold it closed, which prevents the lid from being lifted off on accident in case it is picked up by the roof portion.We will engrave your text in the same layout and font as shown in our photos.Pawprints or Heart designs can be engraved in the bottom corners by request.Total measurements outside: 9” long, 10” wide, and 8.5” tall.Approx. inside dimensions: 6” long and 7” tall. The inside of the box tapers up in the width, so it is 5.5” wide at the bottom, and 6.5" wide at the top.The "Cooper" box pictured in the main photo is Pine with Medium stain. Additional box photos are shown in Walnut wood.We use real natural wood and make these by hand in our woodshop, which means there will always be variations in color, wood grain, knots, and overall appearance.Pine is a more rustic option, more likely to have knots.Cedar will almost certainly have knots, and features red, pink, and white color tones with a very aromatic scent.We include a photo print on the 4” ceramic disc on the front of the box, permanently printed with your image using a dye-sublimation heat process. The box does not include a frame where you can insert your own photo. The tile is not removable from the box.There is no option to upload your photo during checkout.
